What is Counselling
It is an opportunity to talk about whatever concerns
you may have. It is your choice what you say and how much is shared in each session. It has become increasingly recognised
that counselling is beneficial in helping people to take stock of themselves, especially at difficult points in their lives.
The process helps to bring together feelings, thoughts and actions therefore, bringing fresh perspectives and opening
up new possibilities. A counselling session lasts about an hour and the number and frequency of sessions vary greatly from
person to person and this is discussed at the initial appointment.
A range of issues can be explored
within a safe, confidential, caring and non-judgemental environment.
